"Seven Eleven" is about four protagonists who are part of the LGBTQ+ scene in Split, Croatia.
In the four photographs, the individual people stagede themeselves and chose both the pose and outfit, as well as the location.
In the accompanying pages of a notebook, I asked the people to share an excerpt of their story as a queer person,
in parts refering to the conversations we had during our days spent together.
Throughout the entire process of creating the work, the personal expression of each individual had the highest priority.
In front of the camera as well as on paper. The freedom given to those involved enabled a sensitive work to emerge, that is open and intimate,
and that at the same time gives the people involved the opportunity to independently show themselves as they are to the outside world.
